Dear Professor Winston,

Naturally, I was quite pleased to hear that my paper, 
%2BEINGS: Knowledge as Interacting Experts%*, has been accepted for the 
4IJCAI conference.
Since my paper was 16.5 pages long, I am not totally surprised that you requested
it be shortened to 15 pages. Enclosed is such a revised draft. The shortening was
facilitated by the referee's comments (sic, "%2Eliminate section 5.3 and merge
Table 1 into the Appendix%*").

I am not counting the Abstract page in the count of 15, and I have used 
one-and-a-half spacing, rather than full double spacing. 
Finally, for the camera-ready version, I intend to XGP the text, in the proper
width, and then paste it onto the special forms you have sent. 
If you intend to be finicky about any
of these points, let me know and I will undertake the appropriate correction.
